Robert "Bob" Paisano has been a resident of the Las Vegas community since August 1981, and has been a Certified and/or Licensed Chemical Dependency Therapist in the State of Nevada since April 2, 1982. He is the founder and owner of Star Counseling/Consultant LLC, the only Native American owned Behavioral Health Treatment Program in Southern Nevada. Mr. Paisano is a member of the Laguna Pueblo Tribe, Laguna, New Mexico, is a Viet Nam era Veteran and has worked for both the Veterans Administration and Indian Health Services.

Bob's personal recovery process began in December of 1981 and remains unbroken to present. During this period he has devoted much personal and professional time towards efforts in addressing the accessibility to effective mental health and substance abuse treatment. To this he has and continues to sit on state and local boards and is currently a member of the oral examination board for the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors.
