Lyndsay M. Dean, MSN, FNP, APN

Lyndsay is a Board Certified Psychiatric & Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. She is an experienced in prescriber of psychotropic medications.

She received a Masters of Science in Nursing degree with Honors from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to graduate school, she graduated Summa Cum Laud in obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing & Allied Health. She has been the recipient of the Rena E. Boyle Award for Excellence in Nursing Research involving psychotropic medications and the Charlotte Burgess Award for Outstanding Achievement in Master’s Nursing.

Her family nursing experience includes working as a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit, as well as in an outpatient asthma & allergy clinic. While in graduate school, she also worked as a registered nurse with the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Mobile Nursing Program while also serving on the Sharing Board as Co-President.

Prior to joining Westerman & Associates, she worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for a private practice outpatient mental health clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lyndsay Dean specializes in working with adults and older adolescents with emotional and mental health concerns including: ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder); Depression; Anxiety; Bipolar Disorder; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; & Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
