Hi, I am Dr. Martin Fakiel. I am Board Certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry and have been practicing for more than 20 years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to help patients from all walks of life, suffering from a broad range of psychological problems, in outpatient and inpatient settings. In this age of quick fixes and rushed treatment, I take pride in spending ample time with my patients in order to perform a thorough evaluation and to answer all questions about the proposed treatment plan.

I strongly believe that psychological problems are multidimensional in nature, and therefore, an approach that takes into account biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors is the most successful. Depending on this, you may benefit from receiving medication, psychotherapy, or both forms of treatment.
